LOCATOR GPS Web-Based Solution

Locator is the new Web-Based vehicle and personal tracking service. By using your own internet browser, it is now possible to follow your employees, vehicles or mobile assets live on a detailed map. A number of reports on vehicle behavior can be used to assist in optimizing your business, saving you money. Alert functions allows you to set alarms on speed limits, fuel consumption, theft and entering or leaving user defined fields. The Locator service also includes different types of maps and services for the well-know ChuChubi TETRA radios. Coverage is for the Caribbean area.

ChuChubi GPS Radio Solution

Most radios have an optional build in GPS transponder. These radios will receive their positions from the satellites and will send signals containing its position to the Fleet Management application via the ChuChubi Trunking System. We do not use the internet so we do not depend on any other company or infrastructure to guarantee functionality. Besides its position the radio will send the date, time and speed which it is traveling at. All this information will be saved on a hard disk. This way you can go back in history to see where a vehicle was at a specific date and time.

Zone
You can create a zone on the map. When a vehicle enters or exits the zone, an audible tone will sound and the information of the vehicle on the screen will change color (blue). This way you will know when a vehicle enters or exits a specific zone. This can be used to create restricted zones or to keep track of when vehicles reach their destinations.

Storage
All of this information is stored on two mirrored hard disks. This way your information will be more secure. The storage days depends on the amount of vehicles and the size of the hard disk. Storage of nine (9) months is not unusual.

Back up system
We supply a UPS with the system. Even when the power is out you can still track your fleet. There are no excuses for an employee to say he (she) does not know where the vehicles are.
