VINGTOR has significant experience with deployment in harsh areas and developed special solution for these areas. DECT or Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications is a European standard for digital cordless phones.
The IP DECT 300 system provides radio coverage within a limited area supporting a single base station with repeaters while the 6000 system provides wide are coverage and supports up to 256 base stations. The DECT server connects directly to the AlphaCom Server over the IP data network. The DECT base stations are very robust against radio interference even in a hostile radio environment. The system uses Dynamic Channel Selection and Allocation (DCS) and is therefore able to reduce the levels of interference. With the ‘VINGTOR alarm server’ the dect system also supports integration with various types of alarm systems on board that will enhance the safety on board
