Key features of the VINGTOR TETRA solution are:
- Support two way communication
- Support group communication
- Support text messaging
- Frequency economy
- Fast call set-up times
The VINGTOR TETRA solution supports the same group communication services and integration as the VINGTOR UHF solution. In addition the TETRA solution supports a wide set of two way calling and telephony service integration with the ACM system.
The VINGTOR TETRA server connects to the ACM exchange over the data network (SIP trunk) for providing telephony services. The ACM exchange will allow the handheld TETRA terminals to call to telephones, intercom, external telephones as well as initiate PA broadcast.
A typical VINGTOR TETRA installation consists of one TETRA basestation with one or more carriers, one outdoor antenna and an indoor coverage system using a combination of antennas, splitters and coaxcabling.
