Description

The VINGTOR INFOTAINMENT system is a complete integrated digital entertainment system for maritime use. The system provides all services that gives maximum crew welfare. It is based on a set-top box connected to each television. The television must support interactive functionallity.

All servers in the system are running on the Linux platform, this ensuring stability and reliability.

The system supports two types of set-top boxes, one for interactive TVs (STB-4) and one for traditional TVs (STB-3). It is possible to connect a laptop to the set-top box with STB-4.

The system is built in a standard cabinet that contains:

• Professional MMC digital server (IP TV server)
• SAT-2 module for up to 8 cam modules
• CORE data switch supporting data driven IGMP
• Maintenance monitor with keyboard
• UPS
