Description

The VINGTOR Base Station controls the traffic channels in the air and works as the link between the Handset and the IP DECT Server 6000. The IP DECT Server 6000 operates the VINGTOR Base Stations through standard Ethernet PoE LAN cables (CAT5 or better). Each VINGTOR Base Station is connected to a 100 meter long leaky cable that covers a circular area of approximately 4 to 10 meters depending on the environment. The size of the coverage area depends on site specifics such as building materials. Before installation, each site needs to be assessed to determine the number of base stations required to attain desired coverage.
