Arubus recently purchased 12 new buses for public passenger transport services. Arubus decided to use the digital radio system ChuChubi for communication with the base office. Till now Aruba uses a conventional radio system. The modern ChuChubi communication system has a lot of advantages over the conventional radio system. Digital audio techniques make the sound quality much clearer, buses are easy to identify and the system is much saver than the current one. To make the transition from the old system to the new system economically efficient, Zenitel Aruba installed a gateway that makes it possible to use the old and the new system simultaneously.
