It also adopts a 1/1.8" progressive scan CMOS chip and with the 36× optical zoom lens and 16x digital zoom, the positioning system offers more detail over expansive areas.

The camera supports H.265+/ H.265 video compression making it ideal for use in a CCTV system because this reduces the bandwidth required for transmission without reducing the image quality. Additionally, it has an IR distance of up to 150 m. 

The DS-2DY9236I-CWX(T5/316L) 2MP Network Ex-Proof PTZ Positioning System is equipped with an explosion-proof enclosure made of stainless steel for use in areas where professional anti-corrosion protection is a must. Therefore, it is an excellent fit for the maritime industry. It has ATex (II 2 G Ex db IIC T6 Gb, II 2 D Ex tb IIIC T80°C Db) and IECEx (Ex db IIC T6 Gb, Ex tb IIIC T80°C Db) certifications allowing it to be used in harsh environments that require explosion proof equipment.
