Description

Master features a 2 x 16 character alphanumeric display with backlight, full keypad, Answer Next key, Scroll key and Optional Control key. The system audio is simplex with the audio direction controlled by this master. The station’s two-line display gives full information on the current conversation and calls waiting in queue. The information includes the station number and name or location. The Answer Next in queue key allows you to respond to the next call with a single push of the button. The Scroll Key allows viewing the queue and changing the priority of the Answer Next function. The Optional control key is unassigned at this time. The name or location information is programmable via a PC using a terminal emulation program such as Windows Hyperterminal.

Connections are made by removable screw terminal connectors. Master requires four pair of wire to the electronics equipment. Two pair for RS422 data and two pair for 600-ohm audio. In addition this station requires a local 12 VDC at 400-ma power supply (1119).
