Description

The 1602 emergency/security wall unit is a high visibility, vandal resistant, stainless steel unit designed for use with the STENTOFON emergency/security hands-free stations.

The 1602 unit is ideal for use in parking facilities, college campuses, medical centers and multi-building complexes. The 1602 has an integrated blue light/strobe encased in Lexan. The blue light is always lit, calling attention to the location of the emergency communication unit. When the emergency phone is activated, the strobe flashes at 1.5 million candlepower and 70 fpm. The strobe flashes until either actively terminated by the personnel receiving the call or automatically upon termination of the call itself.

The wall mount is equipped with a concealed 7 watt compact fluorescent light that continuously illuminates the face of the emergency phone. The wall mount is made of a vandal resistant, 14-gauge #4 vertical brushed stainless steel, designed to withstand prolonged exposure to harsh environments. At the top of the unit is the blue light/strobe, housed in a vandal resistant, blue polycarbonate security enclosure. Requires STENTOFON stations; 62927-9, IP62927-9 (AlphaCom) or 96257-9 (9600/9200).
