This Dynamic Throat Microphone is suitable with our range of non-Ex A-Kabel headsets.

The use of throat microphone greatly reduce or eliminate ambient noise because the microphone is in direct contact with the throat. Thus, the signal-to-noise ratio is better than that of an acoustic microphone used in a noisy environment.

It also allow for more safe handsfree operation, so that crew can maintain focus on task at hand, and still communicate clearly to other crew, bridge team or control center as just a few examples.
