TVG Television De Galacia – Upgrade to Vingtor-Stentofon IP Technology
Televisión de Galicia, based in Galicia, Spain, is currently updating their old communications system with the latest Vingtor-Stentofon IP technology. The new system will replace the former Ring-Master equipment, a brand formerly manufactured by Zenitel CSS, that was installed in 1985 and provided quality audio and reliability for decades.
Antonio Posse, Engineering Director of TVG, said, “After many years of satisfactory functioning and usage of the system, we knew quite well the quality of the manufacturer´s equipment. We know the new Vingtor-Stentofon IP system will have the same durability, reliability and unlimited functionality that will take us into the future.”
An AlphaCom XE1 Server will manage 70 (Part #1008007000) dual display desktop stations providing instant, hands-free communication for all internal areas including television studios, administrative offices and offices located in A Coruña, Lugo, Ourense, Vigo and Madrid. To ensure communications never fails, a redundant XE1 server will monitor the system and provide backup to assure uninterrupted communications.
