Key Responsibilities
- Goods-in
- Book in goods arriving at Zenitel and route to correct stock location or project destination
- Perform inspection of goods on arrival as stated in the Zenitel Quality system, and as directed by the Operation Manager and report any non-conformities
- Organise the sample test of products as stated in the Zenitel Quality system before making products available for sale or use.
- Maintaining Stores/Stock
- Ensure that products and goods are only taken out of stock using authorised processes e.g, correctly signed and processed purchase orders.
- Ensure that products and goods are stored in correct location
- Make sure Stock Database is kept up to date with stock information e.g, Stores location
- Kit and allocate material for assembly or sales orders
- Consumable stock level management – monitor and maintain stock levels based on agreed minimum levels.
- Ensure efficient and effective use of limited stores area
- Ensure stores areas are always kept tidy
- Non-Conforming Materials (RMAs)
- Manage the return of faulty / incorrect goods to suppliers and sub-contractors
- Goods-out
- Picking and Packing goods for dispatch in a timely manner in line with shipping schedules
- Ensuring that packaging is of a high standard to ensure no transit damage is sustained by Zenitel products and systems
- Packing goods to a standard using materials defined by the project and/or customer (when required for particular projects and/or customers).
- Prepare and create Packing list and Delivery notes
- Make arrangements for collections
Skills & Attributes
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy with numbers
- Good computer skills: use of MS office Applications, e.g. Excel, Word, Outlook

Knowledge & Experience

- Knowledge of reading Technical / Mechanical drawings is desirable
Responsibilities
Sales & business development leadership for the Intercom & PAVA product portfolio, in accordance with the Business Unit Onshore EMEA and Zenitel Finland strategy and priorities
- Define and build the channel development plan, covering the full spectrum of channel and alliance partners
- Drive A&E specifications program and other partner programs in area
- Provide project sales support for selected partners/customers. Execute and follow-up of sales activities, promotions and workshops in channel.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships and stakeholder engagement in the safety and security industry
- Drive end-customer engagement within selected customer segments;
- Effectively communicate the commercial value proposition through proposals and evangelization.
- Project management & commercial coordination internally and externally in conjunction with customer projects
- Provide accurate sales forecasting and business reporting to the region and the BU.
- Detect and capture market insight & customer feedback and drive internal alignment with product management
Knowledge / Skills
- Experience working in an indirect sales model that includes managing external sales representatives or distributors;
- Proven ability to drive and motivate sales channels including process improvement, solutions selling skills, adoption of technology and analytics;
- Demonstrated ability to grow business organically;
- Highly developed relationship building skills, ability to build credibility and influence;

- Set up and execute manual and/or automated testing for new or updated hardware and software.
- In collaboration with Test and Qualification colleagues:
- Produce comprehensive test plans for software and hardware products.
- Design flexible and scalable test environments to support test plans and departmental needs.
- Where possible, develop /deploy automated tests using appropriate tools and environments, including scripting, user interfaces, and test rigs.
Competence requirements:
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Ideally ISTQB certification (minimum foundation level).
- Experience in product testing of embedded systems (software and hardware).
- Proficiency in Python or similar languages for scripting and GUI development.
- Working knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu).
- Familiarity with networking principles and protocols.
- Understanding of electronics and system-level integration.

Business Continuity
- Responsible for Data integrity management aligned with ISO 27001, GDPR and other laws and regulations

- Initiate and secure handover from project to operations on all relevant solutions
Helpdesk and operations
- Keep documentation, standard operating procedures, and routines up to date

The project department is responsible for all planning, design and configuration, as well as testing and handover to the customer. After delivery, the project department often participates in commissioning on site and performs service as agreed. Our skilled engineers also work closely with the sales department to ensure high quality and optimal technical solutions already in the quotation phase.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with design, engineering, and project management of system deliveries to our customers. If you have experience from a similar position, it is a plus, but not a requirement.
Responsibilities
- Technically support a project from inception though the whole life cycle of design and implementation, factory acceptance testing, site acceptance testing, bringing into use and maintenance
- Configuration of IP Networks, predominantly closed Public Address & Voice Alarm (PAVA) systems to interface with Control Systems.
- Commissioning / Maintenance of communications systems on transportation infrastructure (PAVA, CCTV, Help Points, Public Information Systems, BMS, SCADA)
- Support post project delivery maintenance activities via 3rd line support including detailed testing to determine root cause
- Produce project-specific design and test documentation for communications systems and carry out testing as specified in documentation.
- Support customers on site with commissioning expertise and maintenance actvities
- Produce project-specific user’s reference documentation, maintenance manuals and deployment guides.
- Understand the company processes, and work within them.
- Design and support customer upgrade and migration plans.
- Troubleshoot and maintain knowledgebase for PAVA and Control System products.
- Support service desk activities as required for in service systems.
Opportunities to travel both in the UK and internationally, to support local teams in the implementation and in-service support of customer projects.
Knowledge / Skills:

Your tasks will include:
As a project engineer at Zenitel, you will work with system deliveries. Some projects you will have sole responsibility for, other times it will be in collaboration with colleagues in the department in Horten or other departments in Zenitel. You will be responsible for ensuring that all project deliveries are in accordance with the customer's requirements, regulations and standards. As a project engineer, your primary tasks will be the design and engineering of projects, drawing the systems in AutoCad (rack drawings and electrical diagrams) and system integration. In addition, you will work with:
- Participate in project meetings, coordinate with the project manager team, be a point of contact for customers in their own projects
- Sales support with design and verification of solutions (technical documentation and drawings)
- Attend FATs
- Technical support both on-site and remote
Desired qualifications:
- 3-year relevant education with technical understanding, preferably electronics engineer
- Interest in, and preferably knowledge of, telecom/communication systems
- Drawing in AutoCAD
- Network knowledge is desirable but not required. Training/courses will be provided.
- Be able to write and speak fluently in both Norwegian and English
