About the Integration

The integration of ICX-AlphaCom and IC-EDGE with Genetec Security Center software enables Operators to handle intercom calls using their normal workflow.

The interface between Genetec Security Center and AlphaCom, ICX-AlphaCom and IC-EDGE is through plug-in, which is available on the Zenitel Wiki download page.

Integration Benefits

  • Easy installation as set-up, as GSC auto-discovers our intercom stations
  • Up to 4 cameras can be associated to each intercom, so the Operators get a ful view of the area where a call is coming from
  • Incoming calls are displayed in a call queue, and the Operator can from there answer or cancel calls
  • Video from our TCIV station is streamed and can be recorded in GSC
  • 2 programmable buttons available in the plug-in, to set up actions like door opening, call forwarding and group calls

Sipelia

Sipelia™ Communications Management is the Security Center module that enables SIP-based communications between operators and intercom devices deployed throughout your organization. When unified in Security Center, intercom communications become tightly linked with  security applications, greatly improving your security team’s awareness and facilitating collaboration.

About the Integration

Genetec Sipelia provides an interface from its Security Center Software to ICX-AlphaCom or AlphaCom and intercom stations in SIP-mode.

The interconnection between Sipelia and ICX-AlphaCom or AlphaCom is SIP-trunk.

Intercom stations connect to Sipelia in SIP mode with video mode set to H.264 or MJPEG
