Search for Zenitel devices on the network and add them to the system. Device information such as IP address, name, and MAC address will be displayed. In Nx Witness VMS, the devices are added to the system tree and can also be placed and controlled from maps.

Communication

Audio and video streaming

Operators can view live video from Zenitel devices, listen to incoming audio, and record audio and video in Nx Witness VMS.

Two-way audio

Operators can listen-in to live audio from Zenitel intercoms and IP-speakers, and do live call-outs using the push-to-talk feature in Nx Witness VMS.

Play pre-recorded messages

Pre-recorded messages can be played on Zenitel intercoms and IP speakers based on events triggered in Nx Witness VMS, for example video-analytics events.

Digital I/O

Pressing the call button on a Zenitel device triggers an event in Nx Witness VMS. This can be used to activate alarms, notify operators, start recording, initiate video streaming, and more.

In addition, station call events, such as ringing, active conversation, or call queue status, can also be used to generate events in Nx Witness VMS.

Device outputs/relays can be controlled directly from Nx Witness VMS, for example to remotely open a door.
