3D MARINTEC specialization and expertise

3D MARINTEC registered in Hong Kong and Shanghai in 2007, is a one-stop integrator company. With our high competence and expertise in the design, installation, and maintenance of marine and offshore oil & gas electrical equipment, we implement various projects in China. Our engineers are well-positioned to create highly reliable modern solutions. We deliver Intercom, PAGA, navigation, radio communication, Fire & gas detection, flow meter, remote valve control, alarm monitoring systems, and others. Most of the equipment we use is approved by DNV-GL, ABS, CCS, BV and other renowned international classification societies.

What is the last project where Zenitel equipment was used that you are proud to have won?

We have won a project with two 5100LM Ropax vessels from Finnlines at China Merchants Jinling Shipping (Weihai) Co., Ltd. These vessels, meeting SRtP requirements, are designed for operation between Kapellskär (Sweden), Langnäs (Åland), and Naantali (Finland).
To equip two Ropax with modern and reliable critical communication systems, we used Zenitel solutions. We installed IP-based EXIGO PAGA, ICX-500 VOIP with TMIS-1 IP turbine mini intercom stations for PAX cabins, IP DECT, and ACM digital programmable talk-back telephone systems. Zenitel state-of-the-art solutions meet all the maritime rules and regulations, as well as SRtP requirements. We also used the two-wire Flowire network technology that perfectly solves the connection of some emergency communication equipment.

Tell us about your view of the future as far as critical onboard communication solutions are concerned

In our opinion, stable and reliable communication is a basic guarantee of vessel’s efficiency. The future trends (especially in offshore oil & gas, Ropax, and cruise markets) will be focused on intelligence, integration, remote operation, and cyber security.

What are the main reasons you have been working with Zenitel for a long time?

We’ve been working with Zenitel for more than ten years and we appreciate the high quality of Zenitel products the timely supply of spare parts. These reasons are the most powerful motivation for us to recommend Zenitel equipment to our customers. And it is very important for 3D MARINTEC that during our cooperation our engineers have got trained on Zenitel solutions and are equipped with all necessary skills to carry out the work.
