This proud new BV-classed, Vard-designed vessel will have station-keeping systems and be capable of low fuel consumption thanks to the optimized hull form. It will also be equipped to support remotely operated vehicle (ROV) inspections.

Communication, safety, and IPTV are hand in hand

We are proud to announce that Zenitel has been tasked to deliver a range of critical communication and safety solutions to the vessel. The delivery consists of several elements, including our trusted SPA-V2 PAGA system and the VSP Batteryless Telephone system.

The project is exciting because it also includes a complete IPTV System consisting of 74 TVs with integrated set-top boxes (STBs). Our marine IPTV system can easily integrate alarms and safety messaging services for early notification and directions. The solution further provides comprehensive infotainment and communication capabilities in a single platform that can be accessed over multiple screens throughout the vessel.

The IPTV system’s flexibility makes it easily adaptable to several environments and applications, and targeted content on all screens allows the crew to stay informed quickly and easily.

Quality and trustworthiness

This project has been part of a collaboration between our team and our valued partner Tensosys Fzco. While Zenitel solutions for internal communication have been used by the yard through our partner for many years, we’re delighted to announce that they now also have a project with full-scale IPTV requirements. After thoroughly considering various makers and suppliers, the technical superiority of Zenitels systems and the solid support framework around them made the yard choose our solution.

We are proud that the mix of quality of equipment and service provided by Zenitel was deemed the winner, despite other suppliers having offered competitive solutions.

The vessel itself boasts 100 meters, a beam of 18,8 meters, a deadweight of 1.800 tonnes, accommodations for 76 crew and technicians, three tanks for storing power and fiber-optic cables, and diesel-electric propulsion will deliver a speed of 14,5 knots.

Delivery and commissioning of the vessel are scheduled for Q1 2023.
