Zenitel awarded frame agreement with Equinor ASA to supply UHF Radio systems & services

The agreement ranges from the delivery of single products to commissioning of complete UHF Radio systems. Zenitel’s Oil & Gas Team is responsible for the delivery, and the agreement lasts for 6 years, with the option for an extension of 2 * 2 years.

“Being awarded this contract is of great importance to us. We have a long-term relationship with Equinor, through existing frame agreements for UHF radio and PAGA systems. This new agreement expands the scope for UHF radio communication, combining DMR and TETRA systems to provide efficient and reliable communication for Equinor Oil & Gas installations both offshore and on. Zenitel is experienced in design and delivery of advanced radio communication systems from Motorola and other suppliers to the Oil & Gas market. Our ability to provide unique UHF Radio solutions is further strengthened through the integration with Zenitel’s own products and solutions for PAGA and Intercom,” says Koen Claerbout, CEO, Zenitel.

New digital platforms break through to new levels of performance and productivity and are revolutionizing 2-way radio communication and the options for integration with other communication solutions. Zenitel was among the first players in the market to deliver fully integrated and type-approved communication platforms that include Intercom, Public Address and 2-way Radio Systems. As a Value Added Reseller for Motorola solutions, Zenitel utilizes Motorola products for many applications and customer segments.

Zenitel has extensive know-how and experience in the delivery and implementation of UHF Radio solutions throughout Europe. We supply UHF radios and applications for both operator-driven networks, and, where there is need for own infrastructure, we tailor the customer’s own system.
