Zenitel introduces Zenitel Connect Essential: enterprise-level critical communication for smaller deployments

The launch marks the next step in Zenitel’s Unified Critical Communication vision, introduced with Zenitel Connect Pro in 2024. That vision addresses a familiar challenge: critical communication technologies have traditionally operated in separate systems, making them harder to integrate, manage and expand.

Zenitel Connect brings these technologies together on a common platform. With Zenitel Connect Pro supporting advanced requirements across intercoms, IP speakers, public address, voice alarm and mobile radios, Zenitel Connect Essential now makes the platform accessible to a broader range of smaller applications.

Small deployment. Big capabilities.

From answering a call at an entrance to responding to a request for assistance or broadcasting an announcement, smaller sites depend on clear and reliable communication.

Zenitel Connect Essential brings intercoms and IP speakers together in systems of up to 16 devices. It shares the Zenitel Connect foundation for cybersecurity, integration and user experience, allowing customers to benefit from an enterprise-level approach within a smaller installation.

One platform, supporting evolving needs

Built on the same technology foundation as Zenitel Connect Pro, Zenitel Connect Essential brings Zenitel Connect’s approach to cybersecurity, integration and user experience to straightforward communication requirements.

Customers can upgrade from Zenitel Connect Essential to Zenitel Connect Pro by adding the required licenses. For system integrators, the common technology foundation also provides a consistent platform to work with across projects of different sizes.

Flexible deployment and optional remote monitoring

Zenitel Connect Essential can run on Zenitel’s ICX-510 hardware or a virtual machine, giving customers flexibility to suit their IT infrastructure and installation requirements.

Optional Zenitel Cloud RMM services provide remote monitoring and maintenance capabilities, helping system owners and service partners maintain visibility of their installations. These services require a separate license.
