Technical Area Sales Manager - Transportation

Main tasks:

  • Responsible for sales support and commercial support for selected partners/customers. Execute and follow-up of sales activities, promotions and workshops
  • Develop and manage direct relations with main stakeholders as well as subject matter expert – be proactive and self driven
  • Budget responsible for defined geographical areas and partners
  • Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and to expand the company’s customer base
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations
  • Project management & commercial coordination internally and externally in conjunction with customer projects and close cooperation with Technical Pre-Sales Solution team.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and specific business plans to drive profitable sales, aligned with Zenitel’s corporate plans
  • Focus on Top Line growth, Margin optimization and minimum Zenitel risk

Education / Experience:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent in commercial, administrative and/or technical field
  • Experience in Rail & Metro (preferably also Airport) industry
  • Long experience in relevant positions will be valued equal as formal education, the combination of both is preferred

Knowledge / Skills:

  • Excellent team work and social skills
  • Very well-structured with an eye for details
  • Self-motivated and driven by results
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with Technical Sales/Larger bids in rail industry
  • Experience with PAS (Public Address Systems) and audio solutions in general is pre
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • IP & Data network skills 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English is required and a second and third language is pre
  • Frequent traveling is mandatory in periods, will to travel is a must 

Place of work is less important in this position. You can work from a home office, or work from our head office in Norway. You will anyway report directly to our Senior Vice President of Sales with responsibility for transportation.To apply for the position visit jobbdirekte.no.
