The IP DECT Handset, EX is the ultimate handset for environments with potentially explosive conditions and is built for long-term dependability in harsh environments. A robust, well designed and full feature handset, it meets the demands for easy mobility. The handset is ideal for potentially explosive work environments, such as oil, gas and chemical production as well as dust-filled environments. In order to meet special requirements, the handset is IP64 classified, which means that it is dust tight and protected against splashing water.

The handset has a very high battery capacity with speech/stand by time > 15/150 hours. The handset is easy to use with large backlit display. The display provides calling information (Calling number presentation) as well as phonebook, call history and phone setting.

The phones can be equipped with noise cancelling headsets to provide comfortable usage in noisy environments. Optionally office type headset can be used to provide hands-free operations in other environments. A wide set of accessories can be provided for comfortable wear and usage of phone – like charger, belt clip, leather poach handle.

Each DECT phone requires a SIP user license in the ACM System.
