The Requirement
Due to high hospital demand, the customer wanted an efficient and dependable communication solution for staff, patients, and visitors. The multi-purpose communication solution should meet hospital operational, security, and emergency requirements.
The door entry solution should control hospital access and movement. To ensure that airborne particles are eliminated, touch surfaces of communication products in sterile areas should be tested and proven.
The Solution
Zenitel's core product, Alphacom XE servers, providing operational, security, and emergency communication services. Alphacom XE was excellent for growing consumer demands since it scaled seamlessly. Zenitel also installed over 150 devices to improve hospital operations.
IP speakers at emergency entry points provide high-quality pre-recorded and real-time security reminders. IPspeakers, which include integrated microphones and interactive communication at access points, can transform hospital security from reactive to proactive.
Integration with access control solutions enables door entry intercoms to restrict visitor and worker access remotely. Zenitel's clean room stations enable medical staff to communicate between sterile and non-sterile environments without changing protective gear.
The Result
IP speaker-based emergency entry point security reminders enable clients to remotely control problems, reducing security staff workload.
Door entry intercoms with cameras can identify faces and employee badges and remotely operate critical area doors, keeping people and patients safer. Cleanroom stations with automatic gain control enabled surgeons to stand anywhere in the operating room and communicate with non-sterile medical personnel hands-free.
The control room team may now handle all of their communication demands using a single operator phone.
